An illustrious heritage and a bright future

26th June 2020

One of Britain's landmark heritage sites, Royal Haslar is undergoing a multi-million pound restoration which is marrying the area’s illustrious military history with a bright future as a new residential village.

While Canada House and Goodrich House bring the first new luxury apartments and retirement homes to Royal Haslar, there is already an established and growing community, with 15 occupied townhouses on the estate, and local amenities in the nearby village of Alverstoke.

These will soon be joined by 271 private new-build residential properties, 244 retirement homes and a 60-bed care home, as Royal Haslar’s elegant Georgian buildings are sensitively restored and given a new lease of life.

From 2021 a range of luxurious amenities will be delivered on a phased basis including a community healthcare hub, a boutique hotel and spa, retail and leisure amenities and over 50,000 sq ft of business space.

The retirement and assisted living apartments within Royal Haslar are designed for people who value their independence, but would like the security of knowing they have access to the best care the moment they need it. With a range of care options, including on-call health and tele-healthcare technology support, in addition to the on-site security and maintenance staff, you can relax and enjoy Royal Haslar’s vibrant social community.

Residents in Canada House will commence on a basic Independent Living package. And, as you plan for the future, you will have the option to upgrade to greater levels of care and support services as new amenities are brought to Royal Haslar – from assistance with housekeeping to full restaurant services and medical and physical support.
