Established local home care firm Serenity Care Solent has opened a new branch at Royal Haslar, providing dedicated person-centred support to residents, marking a new chapter in the site’s history of nursing and care. With an exclusive Royal Haslar team of staff and carers based out of their new office on the ground floor of Trinity House, timely and responsive care is on hand, to promote confidence and peace of mind, whatever the needs of individuals and couples.
Serenity Care Solent was founded in 2019 by Beverley Mander and Stephen Mander, Beverley bringing with her over 30 years’ experience working in care management and frontline adult social care. From the outset, its mission has been simple: to provide high-quality, person-centred home care that enables people to remain safe and independent in their own homes, with an emphasis on dignity, compassion, personalised care planning and an experienced, consistent team approach. Each carer is chosen not only for their skills, but for their ability to listen, connect and honour each resident’s unique life story.
The independent company, regulated by the Care Quality Commission, offers a broad range of home-care services and person-centred packages tailored to adults from 18 years of age, including, but not limited to, personal care (bathing, dressing, toileting), dementia care, companionship, meal preparation, shopping and errands, mobility support, medication assistance, hospital-to-home support, respite, overnight and live-in care and light home help.
With its registered offices on Lee-on-the-Solent’s high street and Fareham’s West Street, its dedicated team of about 50 employees will be working closely together across Fareham, Gosport and Royal Haslar, able to provide genuine continuity of care and ensuring the people they support see familiar, friendly faces.
