Local job creation is key to the success of the site. We have zoned an area on the existing hospital car park to promote commercial uses, including office space and a convenience store to serve site residents.

The old hospital store buildings will be restored sensitively within the new Haslar Village Public Square. The old store buildings fronting the square will provide niche local retail and commercial uses offering the on-site and wider Gosport community a grand new civic scaled public space.
