The signature building at Haslar, the original hospital building, will be England’s first world-class continuing-care community for veterans and the ex-service community. The accommodation is open to all of those who have served in the UK armed forces and their dependants – young and old, male and female, and tri-service.

We offer a wide range of accommodation ranging from studio apartments through to substantial family accommodation. The Royal Haslar Veterans Quarter provides a high quality of life and a supportive community for residents, which includes opportunities for work and training, education, medical and social care, and rehabilitation. We are working with the Prince’s Regeneration Trust and a broad range of services charities to develop and deliver the Veterans Quarter vision. This model of care has been successfully developed across the world, particularly in Australia where the Narrabeen Anzac Village provides a wonderful caring Veterans community (see www.rsllifecare.org.au).
