The plans shown here are the result of extensive consultation with Gosport Borough Council and English Heritage, and were presented to the council executive in early December 2009.

The outline draft masterplan shows the types of buildings and uses we foresee on the site. Our next steps are to develop a planning application for the masterplan over the coming months, for submittal to council.

We envisage further public consultation during this period and have already presented the latest plans to the Gosport Society.

In the meantime, we have submitted a number of short-term applications for temporary uses on the site, in order to safeguard the buildings in a ‘conservation-by-use’ approach, while the full plan develops,.
